Photo Food Journaling

How many of you photo food journal?  I’ve been working on losing some weight and eating healthier over the past 20 years (pretty much since adulthood) and have decided to use social media in helping me out.  I will be using Instagram to photo journal my meals and snacks.  If you’d like to follow along, I’d love the company.  Also, if you are photo journaling, please leave me a comment and let me know what you’re eating.

So….here is what I ate yesterday:

I didn’t start journaling until lunch time so no photos for breakfast.  Although all I had was a cup of hazelnut coffee.


Lunch was leftover Indian-Spiced Chicken and Vegetables with Quinoa


Snack – Banana



Dinner – BBQ Black Beans & Corn Grilled Pizza with Jicama & Mango Slaw (recipe to follow)


Snack – Meyer Lemon Wafers

Today’s meals – 6/5/13


I almost always start my day out with a Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Hazelnut Keurig with  Coffee-mate hazelnut creamer (sugar free).


Lunch – leftover BBQ Pizza, Jicama Slaw and an apple.  Take a look at that gigantic cup I found at Homegoods.  It holds 39oz of fluid.  I LOVE it!


Snack – Brownie Brittle (found it at Costco)


Dinner – Curried Chicken Pockets and Lemon-Garlic Roasted Asparagus (recipe to follow)

I still have a few hundred calories for the day.  I might treat myself to a little cup of Schwan’s Ice Cream.
